News of the sector Iberzoo + Propet Fair 2019

The great professional meeting of the pet industry of the Iberian Peninsula concluded its third edition with positive balance and close to 16,000 national and international visitors, 257 represented companies and 748 brands in pavilion 10 of IFEMA-Feria de Madrid.

The professional industry of the Animal of company returned to gather around Iberzoo + Propet, the big commercial and business platform of the sector, that celebrated his third edition of the 21 to the 23 of March in the pavilion 10 of IFEMA-Fair of Madrid. This call, which concluded with a positive balance, was confirmed and showed the widest and most novel offer of products, accessories and services for pets of the Iberian Peninsula.

In total 15,894 professional visitors gathered at Iberzoo + Propet 2019, of which 6.5% were foreigners, from 43 countries. Portugal, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the United States, Argentina, Germany, Andorra, the Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine and Greece were the countries with the highest number of visitors to Iberzoo + Propet 2019.

At the national level, after the Community of Madrid, the largest number of professionals came from Catalonia, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Valencia, Castilla y León, Canary Islands, Galicia and the Basque Country.

Areas of greatest interest
The sectors of Iberzoo + Propet that aroused most interest among professionals were those of Products and Accessories for Animals (17%); Food and Nutrition (16%); Pharmaceutical and Sanitary Products (12%); Hygiene and Beauty (12%); Equipment for Animal Stores (11%); Equipment for Veterinary Clinics (10%); Fashion and Accessories (10%) and Aquarium-Terrarium (6%).

Profile of the professional visitor
Among the visiting professionals, the most represented profile was that of professional Pet Product Stores, by 26.5%, followed by Veterinarians, by 20.6%; Stylist-Hairdresser, by 18.8%; Clinics staff by 13%; Breeder, Trainer or Educator, by 9.9%. The professionals of the Commercial Channel were also represented, which includes retail, purchasing centers and large surfaces; of Residences and Hostels or Shelters.

Important participation figures
The room, organized by Ifema, together with the promoters associations AMVAC and AEDPAC, offered in this edition important figures of participation. In total, there were 239 direct exhibitors, 257 represented companies and 748 brands, surpassing the 7,000m2 of exhibition space, with representation from 57 countries.
Once again, the show gathered the latest releases and novelties in products and accessories for pets; fashion and accessories; accessories and toys; Food and nutrition; pharmaceutical and health products; hygiene and beauty; aquarium equipment for pet shops and veterinary clinics; furniture; snacks, harnesses and necklaces, and services and management.

Intense agenda of conferences and parallel activities
Parallel to the commercial exhibition, Iberzoo + Propet programmed an intense agenda of conferences and activities, which provided a space for training, analysis and debate on topics of maximum interest to the professional.

The ARTERO Days, the celebration of the New Aquarium Festival of PISCIBER, or the model of the food factory for dogs and cats presented by DINGONATURA aroused great interest among the visitors of the event.
