IBERPET, the International Trade Fair for Pet Industry Professionals, has announced its next edition, which will take place from 10 to 12 March 2027. Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the event will once again benefit from the support of the Madrid Association of Companion Animal Veterinarians, AMVAC, and the Spanish Pet Industry and Trade Association, AEDPAC, as well as the backing of the sector’s leading organisations, including AEVET, ANFAAC, CEVE, the VET+i Foundation and VETERINDUSTRIA. It is thus consolidating its position as the leading professional meeting point for the pet care ecosystem in Southern Europe.

The new edition follows the success achieved in 2026, when the event brought together 302 exhibiting companies representing 1,200 brands and welcomed more than 21,000 trade visitors, confirming the strength and dynamism of the sector. Companies wishing to participate in IBERPET 2027 can submit their applications through the Trade Fair’s website.

A new identity. A new name and brand

Ahead of its 2027 edition, the Trade Fair is unveiling its new brand: IBERPET. The new name has evolved from IBERZOO PROPET and reflects both the event’s sustained growth and the transformation currently taking place within the pet care sector. This change of name represents a strategic step aimed at strengthening its global positioning and recognition as a leading platform for the pet industry.
The new brand reflects the pet care universe in a more direct and global way, aligning with the scale achieved by the Trade Fair and its ambition to continue expanding its reach, attract new markets and consolidate its leadership in Spain and Europe.

A key platform for pet industry professionals and businesses

IBERPET 2027 is presented as a comprehensive space for business, innovation and knowledge, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, veterinary professionals and service companies through an extensive exhibition offering and a programme of high-value content.

In this regard, the Trade Fair will once again be held alongside VetMadrid, the annual congress organised by AMVAC, and the Iberpet Forum, organised by AEDPAC, strengthening its position as a unique environment combining commercial activity, specialised training and the creation of industry knowledge.

The Trade Fair will continue to promote strategic areas such as internationalisation, innovation, professional networking and the development of new business opportunities within a growing market. In Spain, the sector exceeds €3 billion and enjoys a high level of social penetration, contributing to the creation of more than 46,900 direct jobs and 356,000 indirect jobs.
