Iberzoo+Propet finally opened its doors after months of inactivity at the fair. In a few minutes, the corridors were flooded with visitors and this was the predominant trend for the next two days, which led to the event being considered the best in its history.


At the same time, the VetMadrid Congress was held. Another success of call and public of AMVAC. Also highlighted was the ARTERO event, a must in animal grooming, and the Pisciber aquarium exhibits.


The AEDPAC FORUM brought together, as is traditional, some of the main personalities of the sector who discussed the state of trade and industry in the Sector in Spain.


On the first day, dedicated to the regulation of live animals in Spain, we had the privilege of having as moderator the wisdom of Adolfo Santa-Olalla from AEDPAC, who would repeat as speaker at the next table. He was accompanied, on the one hand, by Marta Merchán from Primadomus, Celia Amparo and Maria Girona from the Madrid Bar Association, and on the other hand, by the always attentive Claudia Compte alma mater from Legal from the iskaypet Group who would share a “team” with the passionate José María López of FAUNA.


In the next round table, Esther Sánchez from ELPAÍS, luxury moderator, was seconded by Andrea Torres from FAADA and Aïda Gascón from AnimaNaturalis, both in favor of the animalist ideology against Jesús Gutiérrez from CEVE and Adolfo Santa-Olalla who positioned themselves in the "side" of professional animalism.


In the afternoon, session on the challenges of petcare. Enzo Lazzerini from AnimalsHealth gave an exemplary presentation in which Margot Ruiz represented AMVAC (Pedro Ruf suffered a slight indisposition), the omnipresent Delia Saleno from CEVE, the didactic tone of Enric Valladares from Farmina and the usual sharpness of Francesc Giné from Centauro.


Friday's session began with the phenomenon of concentration of the value chain. Moderated by Pablo Crespán from Meeting Vets, the three speakers, true connoisseurs of the sector, such as Vicent Jornet from Grupo Buddy, Jaime Díaz from UNAVETS and Ramón Esteban from NUZOA explained why they have been considered as case studies this past year.
