The International Fair for Pet Industry Professionals, Iberzoo Propet 2025, concluded its eighth edition—16th in the case of Propet—on February 28 with a record attendance. A total of 21,612 professionals visited the event, which showcased the latest innovations from 281 companies—a 33% increase compared to the previous edition in 2024—including 213 Spanish (+25%) and 68 international (+71%) companies from 12 countries.

Hall 10 of IFEMA Madrid, covering 22,000 m² of gross surface area and 9,855.5 m² of net space (+14%), hosted the exhibition and the extensive program of conferences, which took place from February 26.

Iberzoo Propet 2025 once again highlighted the innovative nature of an industry composed of 10,188 companies and 7,021 clinics, which last year generated €2.863 billion in revenue, a 9.2% increase compared to 2023, and created 44,500 direct jobs. This sector serves the 15 million dogs and cats in Spain.

On one hand, the 42nd Vetmadrid Congress, organized by AMVAC, was held under the theme "Medicine and Surgery of the Locomotor System and Nervous System," with 2,539 registrations in this edition.

The General Directorate for Animal Rights has sent a letter signed by its general director, José Ramón Becerra, addressed to the board of directors and all member companies of AEDPAC, expressing gratitude for the success of the event and, in particular, for the agreements and joint actions undertaken by both parties for the development of the sector and the success of this edition of Iberzoo Propet.
