The recent approval in Congress of the Animal Welfare Law (LBA) has caused intense concern among professionals and businessmen in the sector. During the months after said approval, AEDPAC has responded to a multitude of inquiries from distributors, manufacturers and especially from retailers throughout Spain who demanded objective and truthful information on the new requirements and modifications provided for in said law for the commercialization and acquisition of pets.

Faced with this situation, and after confirming the fact that misinformation and rumors about the content of said law is widespread, not only among citizens but also among the media themselves, the association has published an infographic that responds with language easy and understandable to the questions that this law raises.

In the same way, and with the aim of informing citizens responsible for a pet, it calls on all professionals in the sector to guarantee maximum dissemination among clients, suppliers, the media, public administration, businesses, etc. and to avoid as far as possible the slowdown effect on the sale of services and products that could be generated between the different operators of the sector's value chain: veterinary services, food, products, accessories and services.
