AEDPAC presented yesterday, November 7, its allegations to the Preliminary Project of the Law for the Protection, Rights and Welfare of Animals that was approved on February 18 by the General Directorate of Animal Rights.

After months of hard work, Adolfo Santa Olalla, President of the association's Live Animals Commission, has curated and examined all the assessments and considerations made in the numerous meetings held, not only with the members that make up the aforementioned Commission, but also with multiple entities, collaborators and associations of the Sector that have recognized specialists in the legal, scientific and business fields.

The result has been exposed in an extensive 45-page document where it collects in an exhaustive and detailed manner the vision of the professionals of the Sector regarding the aspects that should be modified in the current draft, in order to have a necessary and modern law in accordance with the aspirations of the sector as a whole and in accordance with the criteria demanded by the priority objective of all its members, that is, to promote awareness and the indisputable commitment to the protection and welfare of animals, without exception.
